Sunrise on the Gornergrat

Experience a once-in-a-lifetime sunrise on the Gornergrat peak (3089 m) with the silhouette of the majestic Matterhorn towering steeply in the early morning sky. Having arrived at the Gornergrat, delight in the first rays of the sun as they gently embrace the highest of the 29 4000-metre peaks.

The package includes:

Train trip to the Gornergrat (standard class)
Viewing of the sunrise from the panorama platform
Breakfast buffet at the 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat
Guided hike to the Riffelalp with wildlife viewing
Return to Zermatt

The departure time is adjusted to the respective time of the sunrise. For the correct departure time, please refer to the timetable for the Gornergrat train.
