Newly ranked in 13th place
In the new edition of “The 150 Best Hotels in Switzerland 2026/27” within the “Andrin Willi Hotel Rating Switzerland”, the 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat has successfully entered the ranking at first attempt. As the highest hotel in the Swiss Alps owned by the Burgergemeinde Zermatt, it is now listed at No. 13 among the best 3-star hotels in Switzerland.

New shopping mall opened
The selection includes souvenirs, fashion, jewellery, regional specialties and exclusive products, including the in-house brand “3100 Gornergrat Summit Experience”. The concept is complemented by culinary highlights such as the Zermatt Prime Foods product line and an exclusive chocolate collection developed in collaboration with Walder Chocolat.

Relaunch Gornergrat
In 2024, the 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat was extensively modernised to improve the culinary experience for guests. Three new restaurants now welcome guests at 3100 metres. In addition, a new shopping mall and the latest attraction, the Million Stars Suite, will open in June 2025.
